Activists steal lab beagles in Italy

Animal-rights activists took 128 beagles destined for laboratories from a breeding farm in northern Italy at the weekend.

A gang linked to the Animal Liberation Front took 118 puppies and 10 adult dogs and spraypainted "murderers" on the farm walls.
