Area Description:

The Bay of Islands and inshore waters from Cape Brett to the Poor Knights Islands to Bream Head.

Situation:

A broad low to the east of the country spreads several associated troughs over New Zealand, followed by a narrow ridge from late today. Another low approaches from the west on Friday and Saturday, then moves onto the North Island Sunday, bringing a strong easterly flow to central New Zealand.
