Situation:
A low from Tasman Sea is expected to cross the upper South Island today, followed by strong southwesterlies over the country. On Tuesday, strong southwesterlies ease as a large high slowly moves onto New Zealand from the Tasman Sea. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the large high remains over the country. A new front approaches Fiordland late Friday.
