Nelson hostels targeted by thieves

Police are warning tourists after a series of thefts from Nelson backpacker hostels.

On Monday two hostels were targeted. An English tourist's two backpacks, containing $US500 ($768) and more than $US1000 in travellers cheques, airline tickets and passports, were taken and another visitor also robbed.
