Colin Craig's Conservative Party has slumped to its lowest rating since it was founded, according to a poll to be released tonight.
The 3News-Reid Research poll has the troubled right-wing party polling at just 0.7 per cent - a collapse from its Election night high of 4.1 per cent.
The result comes after the controversy over Craig and his former press secretary Rachel MacGregor, which was followed by a protracted and confusing spat over party leadership.
Craig stood down as leader last month and held a press conference - with wife Helen by his side - admitting some of his interactions with MacGregor were "inappropriate". MacGregor resigned days before last year's election but details of what happened between the pair are suppressed by a confidentiality agreement.
Patrick Gower, 3News political editor said the result was the lowest the party had polled since appearing in the 3News poll shortly before the 2011 Election.
