Kohinoor looked in superb order for tomorrow's Cambridge races at Te Rapa when galloping at Matamata yesterday.

On the plough, Kohinoor strode 1200m in 1:24.5, speeding up for her last 600m in a slick 36.6. O'Malleys Boy was also in dashing form, taking 1:19.2 for 1200 and 35.1 from the 600.

Mr Barrymore, the star trackworker on Tuesday, was let off with a leisurely 1000m.

Auckland Blues looked improved when covering 1200 in 1:22, the 600 in 38.

Rock Hard looked to have trained on since his Ellerslie maiden win when cruising 1200m in 1:25, the 600 in 40.

Talking Heads did similar work in 1:23, quickening from the 600 in 37.

Scissorman galloped 1200m smoothly in 1:23, the 600 in 37.5. On A Whim wasted no time over the same ground in 1:18 and 35.7.

Class Eulogy, Makeeba and Latin Class kept together over 1000m in 1:2.2, the 600 in 35.6.

At Cambridge, Cox's Bazaar showed his readiness for a return to racing at Te Rapa with a solid 1200m on the sand, the final 1000 in 1:7 and 600 in 39.5.

Danart had a good blowout over 600m in 40. Rockfist Rogan sprinted 600 in 41.1 nd Amazing Knight travelled comfortably, returning 42 for his last 600.

Our Mr Bowe, who races tomorrow at New Plymouth, looked in excellent order when galloping 1200m at three-quarter pace. Warmark was not fully extended over 600 in 42.1.

Gussy Godiva did a comfortable 1200m in 1:30, the 600 in 43.9.

Gwen's Rules and Sedecrem looked set for another clash tomorrow when galloping together on a fast plough at Takanini.

They reeled off 800m in 49.1, the 600 in 35.6 - exceptional time because neither is regarded for training efforts.

Sir Kinloch galloped 1200m well within himself in 1:19.7, the 600 in 39.1. Two-year-old Divaria looked good when sprinting 600 with a fair weight up in 36.6.

Formation was keen to go faster than 56 for 800m, the 600 in 39.1. Regency was given 1200 at three-quarter pace yet still managed 40 for her last 600.

Sunlaw attracted attention at Te Awamutu when dashing 1000m on a good plough in 1:2.6, the 600 in 35.6.

Just Aqua went 1000m with Glamour Chapel in 1:4.4, the 600 in 37.8. Mr Emperor took 1:5.1 for 1000, quickening from the 600 in 37.

Over 600m, Sequel showed dash in 35.5. Zillian and Danceinthesun matched strides in 36.5.

The Paul Milich-trained Bensheim, Folk Dance and Lady Tess impressed at Avondale.

Bensheim managed 800m under a hold on a slow plough in 59.1, the 600 in 43.2.

On a firm grass, Folk Dance cut out 800m in 54.6, the 600 firmly held in 39.3. Lady Tess did 800 on the plough in 56.4, the 600 in 40.9.

Nudge wound up for Te Rapa with a quick 600m on a good plough at Te Aroha in 37.3, the final 400 in 25.1.

Travis Stakes prospect Honor Bound did striding work, quickening slightly over her final 400. Recent trials winner Younme ran 800 under a hold in 55.5, the 600 in 40.8.

Izalion showed zest running 1200 in 1:20.8, 600 in 39. Orl Lord showed he is still some distance from racing when he dawdled over 800 in 58.6, the 600 in 39.

Fiesta Fun was the best of the local candidates for Te Rapa, covering 1200m on a good plough in 1:21.4, the 600 in 36.3. Mattstar ended some strong work with 600m in 42.6.

Hakkinen and Coulthard impressed over 800 on a good sand in 51, the 600 in 37.4.

Happy Jogger ran 800m in 56.9, the last 600 in 40.4.
