Wellington army land snapped up for $1m

A section of former Army ground at Fort Dorset in Seatoun has sold for more than $1 million.

Another four beachfront sections being sold by developer Globe Holdings went for more than $800,000 each within days of being put on the market last week, with conditional offers on another four.

Mostly Wellington buyers had snapped up the properties, Globe Holdings director Andrew Fawcet said.
