Crime scene: Hamilton topiary theft

A trail of potting mix leading over a wall and down a path is all police have to go on in the theft of topiary plants from the Renaissance garden at Hamilton Gardens last Friday night.

The plants are cone- and tier-shaped, and there was one spiral conifer. They are worth $8000.
