Israel's top court refuses to lift Vanunu ban

Israel's top court has refused to lift a ban on nuclear whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu leaving the country.

The Government has contended that Vanunu, a former nuclear technician who spilled Israel's atomic weapons secrets in 1986, is a security risk because he could have more information to reveal. Vanunu, who was released in April, insists he has nothing more to tell.
