Australian Government warned on Nuclear reactor danger

The Senate may force the Australian Government to release a report on an earthquake fault line beneath the Lucas Heights nuclear reactor.

Australian Greens leader Bob Brown says the report is being withheld by the Government.

The fault line was discovered last week during preliminary construction work on a new nuclear reactor on the site in southern Sydney.

Senator Brown said he would demand the Government release the report by tomorrow or he would ask the Senate to force its release.

"We know that the fault line is there. All the Government is doing is raising fear," he said.
