Stratford Business Association members have had to make a tough call for this year's Christmas Parade, and cancel it because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
In an emailed statement, chairperson Matthew Dimock said the uncertainty of levels had led to the decision.
"Due to the current and ongoing uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 outbreak and the guidelines for outdoor events we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Stratford Christmas Parade and Carols, and Santa's Cave."
The email also states the traditional carol service has been cancelled, as has the Santa's Cave which is normally in town in the lead up to Christmas, but they are working on "something amazing" for the community instead.
The Stratford Business Association thanked stakeholders, supporters and the community for their continued support.
