Former York Street farmer Ron Espiner's body was found in his converted bus last week.
Ron (74), who was mostly living in his bus travelling New Zealand, is said to have died in his sleep. He would have left Stratford next week to travel the South Island with a friend, says his nephew, Max Espiner.
Max says they had no warning that he might have had a medical condition and that his death was very sudden.
He had parked his camper-bus on friends' property on Pembroke Road; they themselves were travelling at the time.
Ron was buried on Tuesday at St Andrews in Stratford. He is survived by one daughter and three sons.
