Thailand's Paradorn Srichaphan retained his TD Waterhouse Cup tennis title by beating American James Blake 6-2, 6-4 in yesterday's final in Long Island, New York.
Paradorn, who had lost to Blake in their three previous matches, became the fifth repeat winner of the event.
