Grant Hackett has demolished his second world record in five days and shared a third in a relay at the Australian short-course swimming championships in Perth.
The world and Olympic champion carved 9.45s from his 1500m freestyle world short-course mark with a swim of 14m 10.10s at Perth's Challenge Stadium.
Hackett then joined Ian Thorpe, Michael Klim and Bill Kirby to push the short-course world record in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay below the seven-minute mark for the first time, clocking 6m 56.41s in a special time trial, 4.92s quicker than the old mark.
