Kiwi philanthropist and former Warrior's co-owner Sir Owen Glenn has revealed he is battling liver cancer, in an emotional interview with an Australian newspaper.
Sir Owen told the Sydney Morning Herald he'd had three operations, and half of the cancer had been removed.
He had a test on Thursday and will continue to see a doctor every two months.
The multi-millionaire recently parted with his half share of rugby-league club the Warriors, which was worth $6 million.
This ended a bitter yearlong battle with Eric Watson over his stake in the club.
