Mark Tookey has been named in the Warriors starting line-up for Saturday's NRL match against the Sydney City Roosters at Ericsson Stadium.
Tookey will start at prop for the match, with Ali Lauiti'iti moving to the second row to take the place of Logan Swann who dislocated his shoulder in the
Warriors 30-0 win over the Sharks at the weekend.
Warriors coach Daniel Anderson said the loss of Swann - who will be out for at least three weeks - was a big blow to the team.
"However, our form is good, highlighted by the achievement of two milestones last weekend, keeping the Sharks scoreless and recording three consecutive wins."
Anderson said the team was only focussing on this weekend's game, as it was dangerous for them to get too far ahead of themselves by starting to think about the finals series.
The Warriors are in eighth place, with three matches left, as they hunt a place in what would be the first NRL playoffs in the club's history.
"I was impressed with the Roosters fight-back against the Storm last weekend and with the ability of Brad Fittler to inject himself in to the game at vital stages. Their form of the last two weeks is as impressive as anyone in the competition," said Anderson.
"Two form teams, still with a lot to play for - that's what makes this weekend's game so fascinating."
