Golf: 'Fat' caddies irate

Two hundred employees at Thailand's Pinehurst golf course have lodged a discrimination complaint with the Labour Ministry against the management's order for "short, fat, old" caddies to shape up or leave the green.

Pinehurst, one of Thailand's most prestigious golf clubs, has given its female caddies who fit the description of "short, fat, old" three months to get their weight down to 70kg or lose their status as fulltime employees, says the Bangkok Post newspaper.
