Boxing: Bruno seeks return of boxing licence

Former WBC heavyweight champion Frank Bruno has officially applied for the return of his boxing licence, although an eye problem could lead to rejection.

Bruno, 41, has not fought since losing his title in two rounds to Mike Tyson more than seven years ago and has since discovered that he has a damaged retina.

He has now applied to get his licence back with a view to a fight against former Olympic superheavyweight champion Audley Harrison.
