Athletics: Maurice Greene on track

World and Olympic champion Maurice Greene ran his first 100m for nine months at the Athens Grand Prix yesterday, winning convincingly in 9.97s at the same stadium where he set current the world record three years ago.

Greene has not raced since last year's world championships in Edmonton.
