Religious clashes kill six in India

Six people died in clashes between Muslims and Hindus as new violence flared in India's riot-racked western Gujarat state.

It came before Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's visit to the state today, his first since India's worst religious bloodletting in a decade erupted in late February, leaving more than 800 dead.
