A driver has captured the moment there was an angry stand-off in a US carpark after woman ran to "save" a spot for her family while another couple was attempting to park.
In footage posted YouTube on Saturday, a woman can be can be seen sprinting from acar to stand in an empty carpark in an attempt to block another driver's attempt to park.
As the driver begins to pull in, the woman is seen standing in the car park with her arms out wide, waving for the driver to get back while shouting "I got here first".
Taken aback by the situation, the passenger in the car responds, shouting "Are you serious!" before the driver has a crack.
Another woman joins the lady standing in the car park and begins to attempt to "shoo" the car away with her hands.

Taking to YouTube, the driver shared his frustration over the situation.
"She and her mum then had the audacity to call me unreasonable...
"It was already about halfway through this video when their car finally made it to the spot and tried to come up real close to my car as if it was going to intimidate me to leave. I'm sure we've all had our share of standing in spots hoping to save it for someone, but if another car gets there first, we don't act like little-entitled children like these two here.
"And the lady who ended up giving me her spot to end this, you the real MVP, thank you.
"Just to clarify, I left because the woman who came at the end offered to give the women her spot because she saw that there were a lot of poor souls stuck behind us because of this situation [there's no space to go around].
"I knew that they, being the idiots that they are, would not leave this spot. So I sucked it up and decided to take the high road and take the woman's spot and go enjoy my dim sum while they remain the miserable f**ks that they probably are.
"If there wasn't a giant line of innocent bystander cars stuck because of us, I definitely would not have moved."
The video, published on March 10, has been viewed more than 95,000 times, sparking outrage and fierce debate.
When posted to social media on Monday, the debate intensified. Is it ever okay to "camp out" in a parking space?
