The fastest narrow-gauge train in the world rolled into Brisbane's Roma St Railway station yesterday on its maiden journey from Cairns.
The diesel-powered train, which uses tilt technology to reach speeds of 160km/h, sliced more than seven hours off the usual time for the 1700km journey.
