Home security footage captured the moment a bloodied man stumbled through a neighbourhood knocking on doors for help after allegedly being stabbed by a friend.
The 41-year-old man was on a crabbing trip in northeastern Perth with a friend on Sunday when they got lost and a fight broke out, the Daily Mail reported.
The injured man left blood smeared on several front doors in the suburb of Henley Grove, Perth, but no one let him in.
He was allegedly stabbed multiple times during an hour-long fight, and stumbled around asking for help, 7 News reported.
The man then locked himself in a car when no one would let him into safety, but his friend allegedly smashed a window with a concrete slab and tried to stab him again.
Local resident Anna Lazzara told 7 News the man knocked on her door but she did not know how badly injured he was.
"I didn't realise he was bleeding, he was just screaming, 'help, help I'm being stabbed'," she said.
Police arrested a 43-year-old man at the scene, which was also captured on CCTV.
He was charged with unlawful wounding, criminal damage and threatening police.
The alleged victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries, and is in a stable condition.
