New Zealand women's cricketer Sophie Devine last night blasted a scintillating innings, smashing the world's fastest 50 in women's cricket.
Devine brought up 50 off a world record 18 balls for the White Ferns in their Twenty20 clash with India, eventually finishing on 70 off just 22 balls.
The White Ferns all-rounder hit five fours and eight sixes - the second-highest number of sixes in a T20 innings, with her masterful innings being a mixture of brute strength and classy shot-making.
Devine hit a remarkable 32 off one over alone, combining with Amy Satterthwaite to put on 89 runs off just 4.4 overs.

As a result of Devine's marvellous knock, the White Ferns claimed an eight-wicket win, chasing down India's 126 with 45 balls remaining.
