Tennis: Becker confirmed as father

A High Court judge has named German former tennis ace Boris Becker as the father of a Russian model's daughter, formally ending their long-running paternity row.

A "declaration of paternity" was granted in London by the judge in a case started two months ago on behalf of Angela Ermakova's child Anna, who turned one yesterday. Within days of the start of court proceedings, Becker, 33, who had earlier denied paternity, accepted he was the father after DNA blood tests.
