Carlos Spencer is the only Blues survivor from the original 1996 squad who was today named to play the Hurricanes in Wellington this Friday.
In 1996 Spencer played in the first Super 12 game - also a Blues-Hurricanes clash.
New faces in the team include Tony Woodcock at loose head prop and winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca.
