Rugby: Romanian players finally get professional contracts

The Romanian Rugby Union is set to sign the country's first professional contracts with 20 players.

All will play in the domestic championship.

The players' wages will range from €200 to €500 ($395 to $990) a month.

Most of Romania's top players turn out in France or Italy, which has caused problems with clubs refusing to pay players while on international duty, weakening the national side.
