Gold Coast Titans prop Matthew White is facing a minimum three-match ban after receiving the highest-graded dangerous contact charge this NRL season.
White received a grade three charge on Tuesday following the match video review of his alleged "crusher" tackle on Penrith fullback Lachlan Coote on Monday night.
Coote managed to play the ball afterwards but was then taken from the field with back spasms during the Panthers' 34-20 win at CUA Stadium and was still in pain after the match.
Referee Jared Maxwell put White on report for the ninth minute incident.
White said after the match the contact with Coote's head was accidental.
