League: Complaints against Tallis dropped

An assault complaint against former Brisbane test forward and NRL board member Gorden Tallis has been dropped.

Tallis was allegedly involved in an incident with a member of the bar staff at the Regatta Hotel in Brisbane early on Monday. Former Brisbane captain Tallis, 33, was having drinks with his wife Christine and other former players when the alleged incident occurred.

And the assault complaint against dumped Broncos halfback Brett Seymour, who was alleged to have head-butted a woman on the dance floor of the same hotel last month, has been dropped.
