Rugby League: Great Britain winger charged after incident

Great Britain league winger Leon Pryce has been charged after allegedly smashing a glass into the face of an ex-coach from his club, Bradford Bulls, at a bar in the town, hours after a Super League match. He will appear in court today charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, a charge which carries a possible life sentence.

The alleged attack came while Pryce and his team-mates were celebrating a 32-14 win over Wigan. The man needed more than 20 stitches to his face.
