Rugby: Henry Paul fined for speaking out

New Zealand's Henry Paul has been fined by Gloucester rugby club for criticising the standard of coaching at Kingsholm.

Paul spoke out about the quality of coaching he has been receiving at Gloucester since switching codes from rugby league and moving from Bradford Bulls.

The club summoned the New Zealand rugby league international before a disciplinary panel and fined him an unspecified amount for claiming the coaching of Philippe Saint-Andre and his assistants was "not good enough".

Paul said this week he did not regret his decision to move from league to union but would not comment further about his club or his coaching bosses.
