Wallabies rugby coach Robbie Deans is expected to make few if any changes to the side which beat the All Blacks last weekend when he names his side to take on Wales.

Australia got through the Hong Kong Bledisloe Cup test unscathed and the players that achieved the breakthrough win are likely to be rewarded when Deans names the team on Friday (NZT).

Wales coach Warren Gatland said this week he hoped the Wallabies would struggle to get over the celebrations after breaking a 10-test losing streak to New Zealand.

But Australian assistant coach Jim Williams says the side has refocused on the task ahead at Millennium Stadium on Sunday.

"The boys have been very good," Williams said.

"They've handled themselves off the pitch, that's been the most impressive thing, the way they prepare themselves, whether it be diet, sleeping, those kind of issues which are small things but all an integral part of preparation in a test week.

"They've knuckled down and got themselves in the best shape possible so hopefully we can bring that forward to the game on the weekend."

Gatland will also name the Wales team for the test on Friday.
