New five-eighth Blake Green will partner Shaun Johnson in the halves for the first time and Adam Blair and Tohu Harris will also make their club debuts in Saturday's trial against the Gold Coast Titans.
The Warriors will field most of their experienced NRL players for their final pre-season hit-out with captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, back-rower Simon Mannering, hooker Issac Luke and just re-signed prop Sam Lisone all named to play at Sunshine Coast Stadium in Kawana Waters.
Blair played at lock while he captained the Kiwis throughout last year's World Cup campaign but will revert to the front-row role he filled at the Brisbane Broncos last season, along with James Gavet, while Sam Cook is again at hooker after featuring at dummy-half in Saturday's 20-14 win over an understrength Melbourne side in Rotorua.
Harris, a grand final winner with the Storm last year, will slot in to the second-row with Titans recruit Leivaha Pulu with Bunty Afoa named at lock. Mannering, Lisone and Luke, who has been troubled by hamstring issues throughout the summer, are all listed on a 10-man bench.
Aside from Tuivasa-Sheck, the other four outside backs named played in Rotorua – wings David Fusitu'a and Ken Maumalo plus centres Peta Hiku and Solomone Kata.
Seven of the 10 bench players were used against Melbourne – forwards Ligi Sao, Chris Satae and Joseph Vuna, utility Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, new centre Anthony Gelling, Tongan playmaker Ata Hingano and versatile 18-year-old Rotorua-raised Hayze Perham.
Perham acquitted himself well when he came on for the second-half in front of his home crowd against Melbourne, making 112 metres from 10 runs with no errors.
The Titans, being guided by new coach Garth Brennan, fielded an under-strength side in a 10-38 loss to Brisbane in their preseason hit-out in Toowoomba last weekend.
The most notable players to line up were Kane Elgey and Dale Copley plus a number of Gold Coast's new signings including former Penrith forwards Bryce Cartwright and Leilani Latu.
