Cricket: Black Caps summer schedule released

New Zealand's bumper home international summer includes four tests, 11 ODIs and five T20 internationals against three visiting teams.

The highest-profile of the incoming visitors will be Australia, who have two tests at Wellington and Christchurch - which will round off the home international programme -- plus three Chappell Hadlee ODIs in Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton in February.

It is the first time the Chappell Hadlee trophy will be contested over a series rather than a one-off game since 2010.

The Wellington test against Australia will, assuming he stays fit and healthy, be captain Brendon McCullum's 100th successive test, the first player to achieve that feat.

''I'm not sure, we'll see what unfolds. Would be great if you're able to achieve something like that," McCullum said today.

''To look back it's something to be really proud of. But that's not what motivates me. For me it's more about what results we can gain as a team.

''The individual milestones or accolades get swallowed up if you're able to play and for the right reasons.

''I'm very much committed to New Zealand for the next 12 months and looking at this schedule there's some really exciting opposition in front of us."

Sri Lanka play tests in Dunedin and Hamilton to kick off the home season, followed by five ODIs and two T20s.

Nelson host two ODIs, Mt Maunganui an ODI and a T20 in a significant nod towards the regions.

Pakistan, the second visitor, play three ODIs and three T20s from January 15-31.
