The Silver Ferns will stick to their gameplan in Friday's match against South Africa, despite another defeat.
Failing to bounce back from their 4-0 loss to Australia in October's Constellation Cup, the Ferns buckled under the pressure yet again, giving up a six-goal fourth quarter lead to drop the openingmatch against England.
"We know it works really well for about 50 minutes of the game, so if we just add an extra 10 minutes on there then the results will be completely different," she told the Herald.
"We went away from the gameplan and we probably didn't trust each other with the ball, and everyone was just in help-out mode ... It's not really what you need, to be helpful in a game."
"We shouldn't have let them get it as quick as they did."
The Ferns are yet to reveal their starting 12 for Friday morning's game against the Proteas in South Africa. Defender Jane Watson and shooter Maia Wilson, who missed out in last week's selection, will be looking to impress during this week's training.
