Ex-Formula One champion Niki Lauda will climb back into a racing car next month to test the new Jaguar for the forthcoming season. The 52-year-old Austrian, a three-time world champion, will test the car in Valencia on January 13.
"I simply want to better understand how the car works," said Lauda, who is the Jaguar sports director.
The British team's drivers are Eddie Irvine and Pedro de la Rosa. Lauda raced his 171st and last grand prix in Adelaide on November 3, 1985.
