A cricket fan has had to make a tough decision after his share in a possible $1 million put his allegiances to the test.
Diehard Indian fan Arjun Bhardwaj, 24, now wants New Zealand to win the Cricket World Cup after he took a clean one-handed catch during the pool game between India and Zimbabwe at Eden Park on Saturday.
The Silverdale Pak'nSave employee, who moved to Auckland seven years ago from India, plans to start a business with the money and is "very, very excited".
Mr Bhardwaj is the sixth person to make the draw in the Tui Catch a Million competition, and currently has a share of $350,000.
The prize pool will grow with every New Zealand win - the ultimate prize being $1 million if the Black Caps lift the trophy.
