A Colombian second-tier side have decided to plaster emojis all over their three new kits.

Fortaleza CEIF revealed their peculiar designs on Monday, which are aimed to show their appreciation to the local children who support and play for the club.

The Bogota-based outfit made the presentation on Twitter, with the caption: 'The best uniform in the world. Made by Emojis.'

Explaining the concept to El Tiempo, the club's communications director, Paco Cepeda, said: "In Fortaleza, there is a huge focus on the issue of communication.

"We consulted with the boys of the younger age groups. There are almost 2,000 children who train in the club, and we reached an agreement: we wanted to have a uniform that would give them something to talk about.

"[The kit] is not aimed at the idiots or to those fans that like to fight, but to the millennials, to the new fans.'

And it isn't the first dreadful-looking kit, with Premier League clubs over the years opting for awful designs.
