New Zealand Breakers basketball captain Pero Cameron won't be making his return from injury this weekend in the upcoming away double-header against the Adelaide 36ers and the Victoria Giants.
Cameron made the decision not to travel with the team today following a morning shooting practice at the North Shore Events Centre
in Auckland.
The skipper is yet to play for the Breakers in the Australian National Basketball League.
Cameron is still recovering from a ruptured tendon in his right foot and a ruptured medial ligament in his left knee after the Tall Blacks' three-test series against Australia in early September.
The Breakers play the Adelaide 36ers in Adelaide on Friday night (10.30pm NZT) and meet the Victoria Giants in Melbourne the following night (10.40pm).
NZ Breakers squad: Paul Henare, Lindsay Tait, Phill Jones, Aaron Olson, Dillon Boucher, Paora Winitana, Brad Williams, Casey Frank, Blake Truslove, Iona Enosa.
