When the Wallabies arrive in Auckland tonight, they'll be without fullback Israel Folau.
Folau sustained a leg injury late in the Wallabies 38-13 loss against the All Blacks in Sydney last night and was ruled out of next weekend's match at Eden Park.
The 29-year-old limped off the ground in the 63rd minute with his side trailing 24-6, grabbing his lower leg. This morning, Rugby.com.au confirmed he would miss the next match.
The Wallabies kept the All Blacks in check in the first half hour of last night's match, but the All Blacks eventually settled when Aaron Smith was set free to flop over the line after.
The swagger returned and the side started to not only see the space, but improve their execution.
Their clinical head came on quickly and without warning and when Waisake Naholo stripped Marika Koroibete inside the All Blacks 22, they made three quick passes to leave Rieko Ioane flying into space before turning the ball back inside to Jack Goodhue who cantered 40 metres to score.
That was it, the All Blacks were in the groove for the rest of the game. Not lethal and deadly because they squandered a few opportunities that will irk. But certainly flowing and confident and certainly way too good for the Wallabies.
