Harvey Norman has come to Masterton - but only for a few days.
Despite rumours the super store would permanently be setting up shop the "off site sale" was for three days this weekend at the Warehouse Stationery building. Proprietor for Harvey Norman computers Gareth Cheyne said the site consisted
of stock from Wellington stores.
"It's the idea of bringing Harvey Norman deals to your town," he said.
At least eight truckloads of goods arrived in Masterton on Thursday, although there was some delay because of road closures.
Mr Cheyne said the Hastings branch of the store often set up a similar sale in Gisborne.
