Strong flavours of garlic, onions and caraway waft from Greytown Butcher Gavin Green's Georgian sausages, specially made with a Kiwi twist in the lead up to the Rugby World Cup.
Wairarapa is set to host the Georgia team, and Mr Green's sausages will be cooked at the Rugby World Cup
Roadshow 2011.
The roadshow will hit Masterton on July 14 with the Webb Ellis Cup on display and a custom-designed truck which opens into an events style venue featuring interactive displays and videos on Rugby World Cup history and legends.
When Mr Green was asked to make the sausages, he researched recipes and also got helpful advice from customers.
"I've made some up to give to people to try, and I'll be making more to be cooked at the roadshow - I'll make them about three days beforehand so they can set and the flavours can soak through," he said
