Four men will appear in the North Shore District Court today after an armed robbery in the rural township of Puhoi early this morning.
Rodney police said at 12.15am today four males went to a property in Lenzen Road, 15 kilometres west of Puhoi village.
The four men - one
armed with a cut down rifle - attempted to enter a house where a sole occupant was inside.
The occupant called police who responded by sending officers to Puhoi, where they located and arrested four suspects.
A vehicle, a loaded firearm and several items of stolen property were recovered.
