More than 100 Auckland homes are still without power in Browns Bay this morning after a live power line came down on parked cars.
When the incident first happened at 9.43am, 910 homes were out of power, but Vector's outages map now shows 134 households are affected.
No one has been reported injured.
No power poles fell down, but one wire came loose and fell onto pavement and parked cars, Fire Service shift manager Jaron Phillips said.
A woman who works in a joinery factory on Anzac Rd said she could see "a great, big, long piece of wire" resting over a couple of cars outside the Jetts gym.
