Police are seeking witnesses to a crash near Newmarket yesterday in which a car was flipped on its roof.
Police were called the incident on Manukau Rd at 6.30pm.
The car had been travelling from Broadway towards Royal Oak in the left hand lane, when the driver allegedly lost control, Sergeant Marty Tompkins of the Manukau Road Policing team said.
The vehicle then mounted the kerb, hit a tree and flipped on its back.
Mr Tompkins said police were appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
It was believed there may have been a second vehicle involved in the crash.
