Two tourists have been warned by Queenstown police after being caught in a compromising position outside one of New Zealand's poshest hotels.
The couple from the Czech Republic were spotted on a wall - directly under a street lamp - at the front of the five-star iconic Eichardt's hotel, on Marine Parade, at 3.15am this morning.
Members of the public were pointing at them, alerting a passing police patrol.
Queenstown Sergeant Kate Pirovano said: "They were picked up for offensive behaviour and taken to the station.
"It's totally unacceptable - too amorous for public display. They said that's alright in the Czech Republic but changed their attitude at the station."
