Architect Graham Strez has been appointed senior lecturer in practice and management at the the University of Auckland school of architecture. He has been an external examiner for the school for 12 years.

Karen Silk has been appointed head of agri-business for Westpac. She was previously head of consumer and industrial relationships for Westpac institutional banking.

Russell Holland is the new best practice manager of Sky City Auckland. He was last human resources director at GlaxoSmithKline.

Rumi Shivaz is a new account manager with IT company Certus Consulting. Shivaz has more than 20 years of experience in IT.

Lachlan McPherson has been promoted to executive creative director for Publicis Mojo Sydney and Auckland. He has spent the last four years as creative director for the company in Auckland.
