A Tauranga man who went drinking on Mount Maunganui beach and cut off his community detention ankle bracelet has been jailed for two months.
Luke Priest, 21, of Windermere pleaded guilty in Tauranga District Court yesterday to a charge of wilful damage and two breaches of community detention.
