The bacterium which caused the recall of four varieties of Imperial Leather talcum powders last week has been identified as clostridia perfringens, which causes infections if it enters open wounds or sores.
The four recalled varieties are Family Fresh, Fresh Bouquet, Fresh Mist and Cologne Fresh.
