Autistic 9-year-old missing in South Auckland found

An autistic 9-year-old missing in South Auckland earlier this morning has been found.

Jaidarn Nelson was wearing pyjamas and a dark coloured dressing gown, police said.

Jaidarn left his home on Dawson Rd, Clover Park this morning and was reported missing.

However he has since been found.

He has autism and may not communicate if approached, police said.

There were fears for his safety prior to his location.
